Classed Choropleth maps show data using different class sets. Each map has different classes most of the time around 7 or less. If the data falls into that class it is shadded that color on the map . As you can tell with the map above Florida falls into the second class with 95-98 males per 100 females. Color schemes are always used with these maps.
