http://www.mundi.net/maps/maps_014/There are many different types of flow maps. The most widely known are thinking flow maps and traffic flow maps. I chose to do a traffic flow map of telcommunications. Every flow map shows the movement of objects weather it be ideas, freight, or telecommunication traffic. The flow map above shows the flow of telecommunications in Europe. By looking at this map you see some of the lines are thicker then others. This means the the flow is in higher volumes to and from those areas. You can see that the United Kingdom has some of the largest international telcommunications calls in Europe, and those calls go to Ireland.
